How to make spins in spin Hall effect of light truly separate

Abstract

We theoretically demonstrate that two separated beam spots with opposite circular polarizations can be observed by modulating the output intensity ratio and phase difference between the parallel- and cross- polarizations of the reflected beam. The spin separation in spin Hall effect of light, even in nanometers, can be greatly amplified and intuitively measured.
