Architectural improvements of a novel embedded MSM photodetector

Abstract

We introduce a realistic improvement on a recent proposed embedded MSM photodetector that reduces the back reflected light to 11.04%. Therefore carriers creation efficiency increases, enhancing the sensitivity. This is useful for communication optoelectronic systems.
