Abstract

Experimentally realized stable picosecond pulses from a cascaded second-order cw-mode-locked Nd:YVO4 laser has been verified by a self-consistent-complex-beam propagation method with radially varying gain aperturing which accounts the stable pulsewidth and inverse saturation loss behavior.
