Single-Mode Diamond Fin Waveguides on a Native Substrate

Abstract

We present a single-mode waveguide design consisting of a high-aspect-ratio diamond fin on a native substrate surrounded by lower-refractive-index dielectrics, thus enabling integrated diamond photonics for nonlinear optics and quantum communication.
