Abstract

We demonstrate a passively mode-locked laser emitting 4.3 nanosecond quasi-Fourier-limited pulses with a record low (104.9 MHz) spectral bandwidth. The laser relies on the simultaneous nested-cavity filtering and cavity-enhanced nonlinear interactions within an integrated microring resonator.
