Optimal Architectures for Single Photon Metrology

Abstract

Passive linear optics are utilized to determine an interferometer with single-photon inputs capable of high phase sensitivity. This structure was optimized to maximize phase sensitivity and furthermore to explicitly compute this sensitivity.
