Quasicylindrical waves at dielectric interfaces

Abstract

The contribution of quasicylindrical waves to beam collimation is investigated at a dielectric interface. A subwavelength aperture surrounded by 1D resonant nanogrooves is patterned into a dielectric stack and its far field radiation pattern measured.
