Full Particulars of Surface Plasmon Polariton Dispersion Relation in Multi-Layered Media

Abstract

We show that the wavevector and frequency of surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) can simultaneously have complex values, providing better resolution/confinement. We analyze SPPs in layered media and provide the complete description of their dispersion.
