Phase Sensitive Amplification in Metastable Helium at Room Temperature

Abstract

We have performed phase sensitive amplification (PSA) in metastable helium. The maximum and minimum gain behaviors and their values compared to the gain for the Phase Insensitive Amplification (PIA), correspond to a very pure PSA.
