Effect of Nonlinearity on the Formation of Spatial Optical Rogue Waves

Abstract

Randomness plays a crucial role in the formation of optical seas. We observe that when the random phase shift is not strong enough, nonlinear propagation has a significant effect on the formation of rogue waves.
