Strong-Field High Harmonic and Sideband Generation in Solids and Atoms

Abstract

High-harmonic and sideband generation in solids and atoms is analyzed using a microscopic many-body theory. Solid-state HHG exhibits a novel quantum-interference of electrons which is absent in atomic systems.
