Abstract

Photon bunching with g(2)(0)>30 was observed in cathodoluminescence from nanodiamond particles evanescently coupled to Ag surface-plasmon polaritons. Comparisons with the photon bunching of isolated diamond nanoparticles point to Ag-plasmon-mediated decoherence processes.
