Size dependent optical performance of light trapping metallic electrodes

Abstract

The optical performance of light-trapping embedded metal electrodes with widths varying from 100–1000nm was investigated. Up to 90% of visible light incident on the metal wire can be trapped, limited by diffraction and plasmon-mediated absorption.
