Numerical Simulations for Dynamically Determining Laser Beam Quality Based on Phase Modulation

Abstract

In this paper, a new way, which is based on defocus phase modulation and paraxial ray-tracing theory, is paved for determining laser beam quality dynamically. Theoretical considerations are verified by numerical simulations.
