Assessing the non-radiative relaxation of molecular cavity polaritons using ultrafast dynamical spectroscopy

Abstract

Cavity polariton formation involves the coupling of molecules to a resonant cavity mode. We determine how changes in the number of photoexciations in a polariton impacts the population of a lower lying excited state .
