Angle dependent optical performance of light trapping metallic electrodes

Abstract

The angle dependent optical performance of triangular light-trapping metallic electrodes was investigated. It is found that higher cover layer index enables improved light trapping at all incident angles. Up to 85% shadowing loss reduction is achieved over a large angular range of 120° at a cover layer index of 4 at an incident wavelength of 600 nm.
