Investigation of Asymmetric Dissipative Soliton through Gaussian Process in an Er-Doped Fiber Ring Laser

Abstract

We experimentally and numerically investigate an asymmetric dissipative soliton in an Er-doped fiber ring laser. Cavity parameters in simulation for the match between simulation results and experimental results are determined quickly via Gaussian process optimization.
