Relative Permittivity Measurement of Pure and TNT, RDX and C L-20 Mixed Soil in the Terahertz Region

Abstract

A preset volume of powdered explosive is mixed with soil. By assessing the soil and soil explosive mixture, the Maxwell-Garnett effective medium theory can calculate an explosive's permittivity. Method validated by RDX, TNT, and CL-20.
