Abstract

We present a new approach for determination of radiative transfer (RT) parameters by a stochastic optimization algorithm combined with local averaging and an objective function for reduction of variance in calculated signals by Monte Carlo simulations validated by measuring 20% Intralipid to determine its RT parameters from 520 to 1000 nm.
