Abstract

We demonstrate a single-shot photonic time stretch front end with stretch factor ~12.07. The time-stretch is carried out with the help of a Faraday rotator mirror (FRM) in the optical path to halve the required fiber length and to eliminate environmentally-induced polarization fluctuations.
