Abstract

Linearly polarized excitons in anisotropic semiconductors like ReS2 pose intriguing possibilities in photonics and condensed matter physics. Here, we stack multilayer ReS2 on a dielectric mirror, creating anisotropic exciton-polaritons which show tunable light-matter coupling.
