Incident angle dependent perfect absorber in MWIR range

Abstract

We have reported polarization dependent narrow bandwidth near unity perfect absorption in Tantalum Pentoxide (Ta2O5) coupled grating metasurface in MWIR range (3-5 µm). It can be useful in IR- camouflage, sensors, and spatial light modulators.
