Enhancement of the Temperature Sensitivity of a Core-Offset Fiber Sensor Using a Polymer

Abstract

The enhancement of the temperature sensitivity of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer coated with polymer based on core-offset technique was experimentally demonstrated. The measured amplification of sensitivity was found to be approximately three times.
