Harnessing of Rogue Waves for Cascaded Supercontinuum

Abstract

Combined special fibers with different zero dispersion points were proposed to realize random lasing and to stimulate cascaded supercontinuum. Moreover, an external perturbation method was developed to actively control rogue-wave generation of the supercontinuum.
