Characterization of Free-Space Optical Paths with Lidar

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

The utility of free-space optical communication channels is often limited by atmospheric turbulence and turbidity. Lidar techniques are described for characterizing such optical paths, in support of both field measurements and modeling. Article not available.
