Femtosecond CdSiP2 optical parametric oscillator producing 100-MHz pulses centered at 6.2 µm

Abstract

We report the first femtosecond optical parametric oscillator based on the newly developed CdSiP2 crystal. It was pumped at 1.053µm and generated a mid-infrared pulse train with a broad spectral coverage over 5.8–6.6 µm.
