Wide Range, High Resolution, Phased Array Based Beam Steering System by Metasurface Coupled Wavefront Shaping Methods

Abstract

Using an optical metasurface coupled wavefront shaping methods, we demonstrate an optical beam steering system with a range approaching 2π steradian and angular resolution of about 0.01°. It has the widest range and the most number of resolvable spots among phased array methods.
