Visible GaN lasers for quantum sensing and communication applications

Abstract

We report on GaN lasers with extremely narrow linewidth (<1MHz) at ‘magic wavelengths’ for cold-atom interferometry quantum sensors, and high frequency (GHz) operation for specialised telecommunication applications.
