High-Performance Computational Approach for Inverse Design of Passive Photonic Components

Abstract

We propose novel approach for high-performance computations of electric field distributions which uses Green’s Function Integral Equation Method, memcopy-free GMRES, fast (FFT-based) matvecs and can work 10 times faster for optimizing topologies than Synopsys FullWave.
