Abstract

A novel subwavelength single dielectric film coated grating which has wideband high reflectivity for TM wave from 10.24 um to 10.90um is proposed. The wideband property is results of double guided mode resonances in grating area. Using this circular single dielectric film coated grating as a rear mirror and combined with four folded mirrors, a three folded resonator is designed. According to the simple Fox-Li iteration, the laser mode of this grating resonator is numerical calculated. Result shows that this grating resonator is anticipated to be used in Fast Axial Flow CO2 laser to radiate radially polarized quasi Laguerre Gaussian beam.
