Dielectric properties of DNA solution probed by terahertz time-domain spectroscopy

Abstract

The far-infrared absorption of DNA solution was studied by terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS). The low frequency dependent dielectric response of DNA solution was investigated and two Debye relaxations of water and DNA were determined respectively.
