Towards Realistic Superresolution of Incoherent Point Sources

Abstract

We establish the multiparameter quantum Cramér-Rao bound for quantum inspired imaging of two incoherent point sources and discuss the optimal detection schemes achieving the ultimate precision predicted by quantum theory thus paving the way for future practical implementations.
