Subwavelength Imaging by Full 3D Negative Refraction Using a 3D Photonic Crystal

Abstract

A 3D body-centered cubic photonic crystal was designed and fabricated to achieve full 3D negative refraction by dispersion engineering. Three-dimensional subwavelength resolution imaging was experimentally demonstrated using this photonic crystal in microwave regime.
