Abstract

Attosecond movies (330-as/frame) of surface plasmon polaritons at lithographically defined nanostructures at the silver/vacuum interface are recorded with a photoelectron emission microscope excited with phase-locked 10-fs pulse pairs. Simple surface plasmon optical elements are studied.
