Abstract

Tailoring dispersion features of Metal-Air Metamaterials using a MIM and IMI coupling approach, allows for low loss propagation, highly squeezed surface-guided modes, negative index modes adjustable cut-offs and induced degeneracy between modes of different symmetries.
