Abstract

4kW coherent beam combination laser using self-controlled SBS-PCMs is proposed. It consists of a fiber-based master-oscillator power-amplifier front-end, a two-pass pre-amplifier system, a coherent beam divider/combiner, and 4 two-pass main amplifiers.
