7.11 W mid-IR supercontinuum generation in a ZBLAN fiber

Abstract

Broadband 1.9–3.9 μm supercontinuum generation in a ZBLAN fiber pumped by 2 μm pulsed laser and amplifier system is demonstrated with 7.11 W output power and 3.52 W at wavelengths longer than 2.5 μm.
