Low-loss Waveguide for a GaAs/GaInP/AlOx OPO

Abstract

Monolithic OPOs require low threshold and thermal management. Following our demonstration of a CW, doubly resonant OPO in oxidized AlGaAs waveguides, here we report on the progress in both its optical losses and cavity structure.
