Abstract

We developed a mid-infrared continuous-wave cavity ring-down spectroscopy technique coupled with an external-cavity mode-hop-free quantum cascade laser working at 7.5 µm. We, subsequently, tested the system by measuring 12CH4 and 13CH4 isotopes of methane (CH4).
