Singly-Resonant Optical Parametric Oscillator Based on Orientation-Patterned Gallium Phosphide

Abstract

We report a pulsed singly-resonant optical parametric oscillator based on orientation-patterned gallium phosphide pumped by a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. The mid-IR idler can be tuned across 2.8-3.1 μm with an average power of 20 mW.
