Abstract

The data base of this presentation consists of 36 sets of sky radiance and solar irradiance observations: 15 sets for Lagos (long. 3.3°E, lat. 6.3°N), 17 sets for Kensington, Sydney (long. 151°E, lat. 34°S) and 4 sets for Bedford (long. 72°W, lat. 43°N), MA, USA. As all the observations were made using the same apparatus at various times by the same person, instrumental and human inaccuracies are about constant and data from different stations are reliably compared.
