Abstract

In this article based on application of theory of tenous particles developed by K.S. Shifrin to the calculation of the optical properties of atmospheric aerosol, scattering diagrams and total scattering coefficients are obtained in analytic form for a polydisperse aerosol having junge slopes n=−3, n=−4, n=−6 Also it is shown that the polydisperse system of spherical particles with a power law size distribution has a scattering diagram most sensitive to the form of the particle size distribution for small angles of scattering.
