Abstract

In this paper, we will present a technique that addresses the following question: Given an image sequence, how to partition this sequence into meaningful subsequences? The technique developed is based on statistical analysis of an encoding scheme of difference images. Results on some simulation sequences will be presented. To the best of our knowledge, this problem has never been raised nor addressed in published literature.
