Importance of left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex in moral judgment using functional near-infrared spectroscopy

Abstract

We used fNIRS to investigate the neural processes of moral judgment (MJ). Left dorsolateral PFC was significantly more activated during impersonal MJ (less emotional) in non-utilitarian decisions.
