Effects of voluntary exercise on cerebral microcirculation and oxygenation in aged mice

Abstract

Effects of exercise on cerebral microcirculation and oxygenation were investigated in the aged mice. Large increases in the capillary RBC flux and PO2 due to exercise were observed in the white matter and deep cortex.
