Neutrophil Recruitment Correlates to Microvascular Flow Changes in Ischemic Stroke Demonstrated with Visible-light Optical Coherence Tomography

Abstract

We investigated changes in vasculature flow following an ischemic stroke using visible-light optical coherence tomography. We found alterations in microvascular flow in the ischemic penumbra related to neutrophil infiltration.
