Analysis of Near-Infrared Spectroscopy Measures of Cerebral Oxygen Metabolism in Infants

Abstract

Continuous-wave and time-resolved near-infrared spectroscopy methods for monitoring brain oxygen metabolism in infants (1–12 months) were compared in-silico. Results suggest time-resolved tail-fitting is needed to avoid brain signal contamination.
