Influence of brain anatomy on functional fluorescence collection from brain tissue

Abstract

We report how the shape and size of the fiber photometry efficiency field changes across motor cortex, somatosensory cortex, hippocampus and striatum of the mouse brain, highlighting how their substructures determine the detected signal.
