Evaluation of Transcranial Optoacoustic Imaging of a Human Brain Phantom

Abstract

Optoacoustic tomography (OAT) visualizes diffuse biological tissues with high spatial and temporal resolution. In this work, we evaluate transcranial 3D imaging of gelatin-based human brain phantoms to establish the feasibility of human brain OAT.
