Abstract

The amorphous WO3 thin films have been uniformly synthesized on the conducting flexible substrates by thermal evaporation deposition, and their solid-state electrochromic (EC) devices have also been fabricated by using a solid electrolyte in the devices. The color change in the solid-state EC devices has been investigated by a UV-Vis spectrophotometer, and the results have demonstrated the potential application of the electrochromic effect of the amorphous WO3 thin films in the flexible solid-state EC devices.
